Up to 50 Dynamic DNS Checks are allowed per day with our Basic Subscription for $5.50 USD using our PayPal link. This is a one-time fee. There are no recurring costs, and it's good for life. You can create your own, personal Dynamic DNS name up to 32 characters long, and check/update it every 30 minutes on average. TTL is just 30 seconds.

Or purchase a Premium Subscription for $22 USD using our PayPal link. This is also a one-time fee, with no recurring costs, allowing you to check and/or update your personal Dynamic DNS name every 5 minutes on average, up to 300 times per day. You can also get automatic email and/or SMS notification whenever your IP Address changes, and we will soon provide you with a User Control Panel to specify what information you want to get from us, and what you do not want.

Or purchase an Annual Subscription for $24 USD with daily limits of 750 Dynamic DNS Checks (every 2 minutes on average) using our PayPal link. This is an annual, recurring fee. It allows you to select up to 2 Dynamic DNS names of your choice, both of which get updated at the same time when your IP Address changes. It includes a variety of additional options.

Why would you want Dynamic DNS?

Dynamic DNS is about connections being made TO your computer, not connections you make FROM your computer. And it's a matter of putting control in your hands, rather than being forced to take whatever Host/Domain Name your ISP assigns to you. You will always have whatever name (and whatever IP Address) they assign to you, but your name will change whenever they change your IP Address. We let you - as a subscriber - decide on your own name, such as robwatson.ippages.com, or lovenest.findandconnect.com, or monster.game-me.com, or lost.ipwhatever.com, or rock.remotesupport.org, or monica.wifi-me.com or just about anything you can dream up, no matter what IP Address they assign to you. And you can keep this name for as long as you want.

From a practical perspective, no one can make a connection to your computer over the internet when your ISP changes your IP Address, unless you subscribe to a Dynamic DNS service, or unless they know your new IP Address. This would be like having your cellular phone number changed at random by your phone company, sometimes multiple times per day. But there is a better way - with Dynamic DNS you get a name that does not change, so anyone can connect to you by that name no matter what your IP Address is. If you are running an internet server, or hosting services such as ftp, smtp, pop3, NetMeeting, or perhaps a games room - or if your tech support company needs to do remote support using VNC, pcAnywhere, Timbuktu, Radmin or Windows © Remote Desktop then you need Dynamic DNS. Yes, having a static IP Address is better, because your IP Address would never change. But it also costs a lot more, and in most cases it is not necessary if you are using a Dynamic DNS service.

Most of the time these client programs are written by someone you have no way of authenticating, and you have no way of knowing if or what other purposes their programs might be used for. Are they tracking your whereabouts? Are they sending information to anyone else? Are they gathering and using any information about you other than your IP address? Likely not, but how could you tell if they were? We, however, do not require you to purchase, download, install, or update anything, and managing your account on our site is a dream compared to most of the others. As for some Dynamic DNS providers offering you services for "free" - well it's not exactly what you might expect, and you might ponder why they would want to keep their DNS servers working for you without any compensation.

Having your own name also simplifies setup and administration of your printers and other devices which normally require you to identify them with an IP Address. You can often set them up with a name instead of a numeric IP Address - then you simply advise us what their IP Address is, so that whenever you need to change that IP Address, you can do that once with us, rather than having to change it on all the computers that use it. This is much quicker and simpler. No more separate "hosts" files for each user! You can even do this with your private IP Addresses, so that anyone connected to your company VPN can have access to any private device by just knowing whatever name you assign to it. The sequence of events involved in Registering a name are as follows:

1st you Subscribe;
